What we talked about before
Let us remember that Lukashenko previously visited China in March of this year. The press service of the Belarusian dictator noted the four-hour productive negotiations with Xi Jinping as the main achievements. It was reported that the signed agreements were “estimated at a total of $3.56 billion.”
Lukashenko and Xi also discussed Russia's war with Ukraine.
At the same time, Lukashenko’s visit to China was commented on in the United States.
According to the press secretary of the American State Department, Ned Price, “the fact that the PRC is interacting with Lukashenko, who, in essence, ceded his sovereignty to Russia, is just another element of the in-depth interaction of the PRC with Russia, with all those participating and supporting. Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine.”
Let us recall that previously the self-proclaimed president of Belarus and ally of dictator Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko, spoke about the war and called on Russia and Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table.
