The level of medical care in the regions should be the same as in the capital, the president said more than once. Today I was convinced that this is so. “We realized that it is better to use telemedicine. From the districts of consultation, and with the Republican Scientific and Practical Center, Minsk ones are more interested in telemedicine consultations, ”said Anatoly Kulik, chief physician of the Mogilev Regional Clinical Hospital.
The President has often been seen wearing a medical uniform and a mask in recent weeks. Patients sometimes think that this is the attending physician. In Mogilev, Lukashenka was presented with a new robe with the national flag on the chest.
“Get well soon, don't worry, but I don't see you worrying much.” – “Yes, no one here will allow you to forget to get tested. The discipline is the strictest. “
The arrival of the president is an opportunity to talk about painful issues. Lukashenka is always ready to communicate and answer any question.
“You have claims to the authorities, I came to you, make your claims. You are my voters, make your claims, ”the president addressed the doctors.
The doctors asked if the president was afraid to be in the “red zone”. It turned out not. They talked a lot about healthcare, medicine and the country's economy.
“The Russians gave us a loan of $ 500 million. I thought I would invest these 500 million in the economy, and we will be able to produce above 100% of GDP this year. No country has achieved this. And then the second wave began. And I paid 200 million for gas to keep you warm in winter, and I gave 300 million to healthcare. So if only co-payments, and medicines? Therefore, if there is even the slightest penny, we will send it to health care, because a person has nothing more precious than life, ”the president said.
Vaccination is a debated topic both in society and in medical circles. And here Lukashenka sees three options: to buy in Russia, to organize the production of a Russian vaccine in Belarus, to create his own – scientists already have the experience.
“I am very glad that our scientists set their sights on the production of their own vaccine. The money there, I looked, is small: somewhere around five million rubles. And we will recoup it, we just need to move quickly in this direction, ”Lukashenka noted.
Now a new cardiac surgery building is being built in Mogilev. The governor promised the president to hand it over by November next year – a gift to residents and the hospital for the 50th anniversary.
Alexander Lukashenko added that medical topics at the level of the head of state will be discussed in detail in the coming days.
