The self-proclaimed president of Belarus is planning a working trip to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the Kremlin press service, the meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 18.
“It is planned to discuss issues of further development of Russian-Belarusian relations, strategic partnership and alliance, as well as topical problems of European security,” Putin's press service said in a statement.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei named the security situation, issues of trade and economic cooperation and opposition to Western sanctions among the topics on the agenda of the upcoming talks.
Recall that the visit of the Belarusian leader to Moscow will take place at the end of the Russian-Belarusian military exercises “Allied Resolve-2022”, which started on February 10 and will last until February 20, 2022.
