The authorities of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) accused Ukraine of kidnapping a serviceman. The statement was published on the website of the People's Militia of the LPR.
“On December 27, a Ukrainian sabotage group of the Special Operations Forces, in violation of the existing agreements, abducted a soldier of the People's Militia. Traces of struggle and blood were found at the place where our fighter was, ”it was reported.
The LPR claims that “physical and moral pressure” is used against a serviceman, with the help of prohibited medicines he is forced to give false testimony.
“The actions of the Ukrainian saboteurs completely repeat the previous two abductions: a soldier of the People's Militia in November, as well as an observer from the LPR in the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime) Andriy Kosyak in October,” the statement said.
According to Luhansk, all this is the result of the OSCE's inaction, while the Kiev delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group is initiating a truce, trying to mislead everyone with “its alleged aspirations for peace.”
“What kind of peace agreements with the Ukrainian side can we talk about when saboteurs, at the direction of the Kiev leadership, carry out open acts of aggression?” – said in the People's Militia.
On October 13, Ukrainian troops detained Russian citizen Andrei Kosyak. Kiev said that, under the guise of demining, he was filming the positions from which the Ukrainian soldiers had withdrawn, and thereby violated the ceasefire. Moscow called Kosyak's arrest a treacherous move.
