Women tried to buy diplomas from a foreign university.
In Poland, the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau detained three employees of one of the Odessa universities due to corruption with diplomas.
A Polish publication writes about this onet.pl.
In Warsaw, Polish anti-corruption officers detained three employees of one of the universities of Odessa. The women tried to buy 60 diplomas from the scandalous Collegium Humanum University in Poland for people who never studied there.
The rector of this university was detained earlier. Polish media believe that the university employees from Ukraine did not know about this, and therefore came to find the Pole.
“Three women, who are lecturers at Odessa University in Ukraine, showed up at the headquarters of the former Collegium Humanum, now called the Warsaw University of Business and Applied Sciences, at the end of October this year. They came to Warsaw because they could not contact Pavel Ch., the former rector of this educational institution. They probably did not know that the man was in custody and had already been charged with more than 70 charges,” the report says.
The rector is accused, among other things, of participating in an organized crime group, forging documents, embezzling property to the detriment of the university, abuse of office, and many other violations.
As established by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, the women tried to convince the new university management to issue “documents”, including diplomas of higher education and certificates of study, in exchange for 40 thousand dollars. The documents in question were intended for more than 60 “foreign students” who had never studied at the Collegium Humanum.
The Ukrainian woman had agreed on the amount with the Polish corrupt official in advance. Despite their plans, the Ukrainian women were detained.
“The results of the investigation indicate that the detained female lecturers were involved in an organized criminal group founded and headed by Pawel Ch. The criminal activities of the group included issuing bachelor's degrees, second-cycle degrees, unified master's degrees and prestigious MBA degrees in exchange for financial and personal gain,” the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau said in a statement.
Recall that in the center of Warsaw, Ukrainian women were robbed of more than a million zlotys.
