Moscow. 15th of November. INTERFAX.RU – The Ministry of Defense of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has reported 51 more soldiers killed in battles with Azerbaijani units in the zone of the Karabakh conflict.
In total, according to the specified data of the NKR Defense Ministry, since the beginning of hostilities on September 27, 1,434 servicemen of the Karabakh defense army have been killed.
The Ministry of Health of Armenia reported on the eve of more than 2,317 soldiers killed in the Karabakh war.
On September 27, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced the start of a military operation along the entire line of contact in the Karabakh conflict zone. According to the ministry, the Azerbaijani military launched a “counter-offensive operation” in response to provocations from the Armenian side. For its part, Armenia announced an attack on the unrecognized NKR from Azerbaijan.
On the night of November 10, it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin, his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan adopted a trilateral statement on a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh. Units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia stop at their positions.
Russian peacekeepers are deployed along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the corridor connecting it to Armenia.
