The future shines! The Austro brand “DRAUSSEN” makes kids safer in the twilight because they are more visible: With outdoor jackets with LEDs.
“All you need is a small power bank, which we deliver right away,” says the innovative “DRAUSSEN” boss Robert Weinfurter. With his extremely robust outdoor jackets (“Made in Europe”) he has already built up a loyal fan base from Purkersdorf. Now the father of three goes one step further: the visibility of kids can save their lives.
The “HALO” jackets are equipped with an LED lighting system. Because LEDs get by with little electricity, the jackets light up for many hours with the included power bank, which is stowed in a small inside pocket.
The jackets are available for kids from 2 to 14 years of age. “HALO ensures maximum visibility and safety for our children in traffic. The jackets not only look cool and offer freedom of movement when biking or hiking, they also defy any bad weather,” says Weinfurter. There is a softshell jacket for everyday use and a hardshell jacket for sporty use on the bike and on the mountain.

“DRAUSSEN” is also breaking new ground in production: materials such as recycled PET from marine litter, for example, are used. It also uses offcuts from other productions that would otherwise be burned as scrap or landfilled.
“We know our producers in Portugal personally and are proud to work with them. They guarantee fair wages, occupational safety and protection!” Explains Robert Weinfurter.
