Agency “Prime” talked with the director of the information and analytical agency Telecom daily Denis Kuskov on the topic of cellular communications outside the city. During the conversation, the specialist named several methods by which you can influence the quality of the signal.
So, according to Kuskov, it is possible to improve cellular communication in the village by means of repeaters installed on the facades and on the windows of buildings. They amplify the signal, and the higher the building, the better the signal will propagate. At the same time, it should be noted that there is no benefit for the operators themselves to come to villages where there are only a few houses.
“ Another way to improve connectivity is to use a USB dongle with an outdoor antenna. In the worst case, when all operators are absent, satellite Internet can be used, which has now become quite affordable , ”said Kuskov.
