AMD has many products in its baggage, but there are a few select ones that have propelled the industry forward, impressed critics, and made the company financially successful.
It is worth noting that in 2006 AMD acquired ATI Technologies. Therefore, the authors of TechSpot also list ATI products. First on the list is the ATI VGA Wonder . It was an expansion card for IBM PCs in the late 1980s. It had 512 KB of video memory, which allowed for a display resolution of 1024×768 pixels. It was followed by ATI Rage 128 .
