Russian mobile operator “MTS” started selling used mobile phones as part of the “Like New” campaign.

So far, only residents of Moscow can use this service from a mobile operator in the Russian Federation.

This is reported AKKet.com.

Purchase used mobile devices are offered for significantly lower amounts than new models that have factory packaging. At the same time, such smartphones have minor defects, which allegedly do not affect the process of use.

Such mobile devices will be available with a discount of up to 50%. In addition, the company intends to sell devices returned immediately after purchase.

“One of the reasons why MTS decided to start selling used smartphones is the desire to meet demand. As you know, the supply of new electronic devices in Russia is partially discontinued and limited, so there are not enough phones for everyone. In addition, the models available for sale are very expensive,” the publication says.

In addition, MTS may offer buyers smartphones with incomplete equipment, for example, if the box or power adapter was lost.

The publication claims that over time, of course, Russians will begin to more actively choose phones that have used status.

Recall that the SBU exposed Russian intelligence agencies in using smartphone games to recruit Ukrainian children.
