The new Russian missile systems “Sarmat”, “Avangard” and “Yars” have become a real problem for the United States. This was reported by the Libyan TV channel 218tv.
It is noted that this superweapon is capable of flying more than 10 thousand kilometers and, for example, the Avangard rocket can reach Washington in 15 minutes. Sources of the TV channel believe that during this time the Americans will not have time not only to shoot down a missile, but even to drink a cup of coffee.
Thus, the publication says, the United States will be disarmed in the face of a potential Russian strike. The interlocutors said that Avangard is a masterpiece of the Russian army, which is a formidable weapon.
Earlier, the Chinese portal Sina wrote about the inability of air defense systems to intercept the high-speed Avangard. The publication claims that this makes the missile “a more intimidating weapon than a nuclear bomb.”
In March 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about a promising superweapon. He listed the advantages of the RS-28 Sarmat strategic missile system, the Burevestnik cruise missile of practically unlimited range, the Poseidon underwater unmanned floating vehicle, the Dagger aviation missile system, the Avangard missile system with a hypersonic gliding winged unit and a combat laser installation “Peresvet”.
