Bayern and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski called the choice between the forwards Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo difficult. The player's words are quoted by the Twitter account of Bayern & Germany.
According to the Pole, choosing the best footballer of all time depends on personal preference. He also explained the difference between Argentine and Portuguese. “I respect Ronaldo's hard work. Messi, everything seems easy. I think Cristiano had to work harder to succeed, ”said Lewandowski.
The Polish forward on November 29 lost to Messi in a dispute over the main individual award of world football – the Golden Ball. The Argentinian received the trophy for the seventh time in his career.
Ronaldo at the end of 2021 did not make it into the top five applicants for the prize. The Portuguese took sixth place in the voting.
