One of the world's largest manufacturers of construction and mining equipment, the American company Caterpillar, has officially presented a new smartphone in a clamshell form factor, which is extremely rare for this class of devices – the Cat S22 Flip model.
The body of the gadget complies with IP68 certification and the American military standard MIL-STD-810G. This means that the gadget is absolutely not afraid of dust, is able to withstand immersion in water, as well as withstand pressure and temperature changes, vibration, shaking and other hardships and adversities.
The main display received a 2.8-inch matrix with a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels. And for some reason it is also sensory. On the outside of the lid, there is an additional 1.4-inch screen with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. The device received a Qualcomm 215 processor, supplemented by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.
The novelty runs on the Android 11 Go Edition operating system. In the meantime, Texet also unveiled the very brutal TM-D314 phone.
