The Prime Minister of Lebanon Hassan Diyab proposed to hold early parliamentary elections. Its words TV channel Al-Mayadeen.
As informs television channel, the Prime Minister confirmed his intention to submit to the Council of Ministers a bill on early elections. According to him, they will help bring the country out of a state of emergency, in which it is now.
Earlier Diab called the cause of the explosion in the port of Beirut. In his opinion, it occurred because of corruption.
A powerful explosion occurred near the port of Beirut on the evening of 4 August. The damage done to the many quarters of the city, the blast was piqued and the Russian Embassy. Not less than 300 thousand people lost their homes, killing more than 150 people.
