Putin was also congratulated by the leaders of several CIS countries – Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Congratulations came from the leaders of the three “oil” states (Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia) and an old friend of the USSR – Nicaragua.
