He added that Moscow is in any case ready to cooperate with any new leader of the United States, as Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly spoken about.
On October 2, Assistant to the President for National Security of the United States Robert O'Brien announced the ability of Russia and the United States to interact for the benefit of their peoples. He also noted that Washington will not tolerate “foreign interference in the elections.” In response, the Russian side pledged not to do so.
