Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the court in The Hague (Netherlands) in the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing (flight MH17) in Ukraine in 2014 is trying to blame the Russian side for everything. RIA Novosti reports.

“We see, of course, attempts to create the impression that this is not a criminal case, but a state problem, since Russia allegedly led these people. This is absolutely unacceptable, ”the Russian Foreign Minister said. He also noted that Moscow unbiasedly perceives this process as a criminal case and is closely following it.

“When the decision is announced, we will certainly speak out on this score, but now we are closely following the process, primarily because we are talking about Russian citizens who are defendants at this stage,” Sergey Lavrov added in an interview with RT on the international agenda day.

On December 21, the Dutch prosecutor's office accused Russia of involvement in the 2014 plane crash. The department presented materials from social networks in court as evidence of the involvement of the 53rd brigade of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) from Kursk in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing 777 over Donbas in 2014.
