Foreign Minister Lavrov said that Russia is not ready to discuss security guarantees for Kiev

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about security guarantees for Kiev and said that Moscow was not ready to discuss this. The minister's words were heard during a press conference.
Lavrov said that Russia wants to discuss not only Ukrainian security, but the security of the entire region in general.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky demanded that a system of guarantees be provided for Kiev like that of NATO countries. According to him, the alliance remains the only security alliance for Ukraine that the state could join.
