The Russian side is seriously concerned about the refusal of the Kiev authorities to have a direct dialogue with the Donbass, provided for by the Minsk agreements. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a joint press conference with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. The broadcast is available on the TASS YouTube channel.
“We emphasized that there is no alternative to the implementation of the Minsk agreements in their entirety and in their entirety. And of course, on our part, serious concern was emphasized by the continued statements of official Kiev that they would not conduct a direct dialogue with Donetsk and Lugansk, ”the diplomat said, calling Kiev’s actions a direct challenge and a direct refusal to comply with the Minsk agreements.
Earlier, Lavrov called on the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to indicate the initiators of the violation of the ceasefire in Donbass. According to him, when counting civilian casualties and destruction in the civilian sector, it turned out that the side of the unrecognized Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR) suffers greater losses than Ukraine.
