Sergey Lavrov: Russia will respond in case of strengthening sanctions, but hopes for the prudence of the West

A number of Western countries are arranging a real hysteria around Moscow's actions. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the air of the Solovyov LIVE program.
The diplomat said that if the economic sanctions of Western countries against the Russian side are strengthened, Moscow will respond proportionately. In doing so, he hoped for the prudence of partners.
The foreign minister stressed that official Moscow refuses to humiliate itself and ask for the lifting of sanctions. “Russia will not change its way of life and its beliefs just because the West got angry and closed some technologies,” he stressed.
