Lavrov: The United States has coordinated its response on security guarantees with Ukraine and its allies

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recalled that the United States had agreed with Ukraine and its NATO allies on its response to Russia’s proposals on security guarantees. His words are quoted on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As the minister noted, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken himself pointed out that the Americans’ response would be coordinated with official Kiev.
According to the American diplomat, the response to Moscow’s proposals was discussed with the participation of colleagues from Kiev and was coordinated with Ukraine, European allies and partners. “With whom we have been consulting continuously for several weeks,” Blinken said.
Ukraine supported the US response to Russia’s proposals. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that no decisions on the final response were made without Kiev.
