Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid the restoration of Moscow's property rights to historical sites in a foreign state, the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
During the telephone conversation, they talked about restoring Russian property rights to historical sites in Israel and countering attempts to revise the results of World War II. In addition, the Foreign Ministers raised the issue of strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations.
Following the talks, steps were agreed on for further cooperation between the countries. Israel and Russia also discussed a plan for upcoming contacts. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Israeli side.
Earlier, Russia and Israel confirmed plans to further expand cooperation.
