The United States will leave Syria because it is “uncomfortable” there, and they get a lot of problems in the country, but for now, Moscow will continue to conduct an effective dialogue with Washington through the military. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in an interview with RT television, predicted the imminent departure of the United States from Syria.

According to the diplomat, the American administration will ultimately decide on the withdrawal of troops, since they cannot provide the vital functions of the structures that support the order introduced by the United States. “And besides, there have accumulated a lot of bandits and terrorists among the refugees,” the minister emphasized.

Lavrov noted the successful dialogue between Russia and the American side on “preventing unintended incidents.” “And there are such consultations that are quite confidential for the exchange of views on the political process and the prospects for the implementation of the Security Council (UN) resolution,” he concluded.

In August, the foreign minister assessed the settlement process in Syria and said that it was proceeding “neither shaky nor shaky.” Lavrov stressed that Russia has created all the conditions for its continuation and is not to blame for the problems of rebuilding the Syrian state. The diplomat pointed to the role of the West in the terrorist uprising against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
