Lavrov: negotiations with the United States on security guarantees will take place immediately after the New Year holidays

Negotiations between Russia and the United States on security guarantees will take place immediately after the New Year holidays, in early January. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the air of Soloviev Live.
“It is with the United States that we will conduct the main round of negotiations (on security guarantees), which will take place immediately after the end of the New Year holidays,” the diplomat said.
Earlier, the minister noted that there is an agreement between Washington and Moscow to use three tracks of negotiations. Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko added that in addition to this, the Russian side is working on the timing and format of the Russia-NATO Council meeting.
