Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on the OSCE to point out the violators of the ceasefire in Donbass

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine should indicate the initiators of the violation of the ceasefire in Donbass. This call was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias. According to Lavrov, when counting civilian casualties and destruction in the civilian sector, it turned out that the side of the unrecognized Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR) suffers greater losses than Ukraine. The minister clarified that such data could be recorded only under Russia's persistent pressure on the OSCE.
“Now, when the Special Monitoring Mission covers the latest events (…) we again pay attention to the fact that it does this impersonally, (…) without indicating who is conducting the main part of the shelling and where the main part of the destruction is,” said Lavrov, commenting on the escalation in the Donbass that occurred on February 17.
In the same speech, Lavrov said that the Russian side was seriously concerned about the refusal of the Kiev authorities to direct dialogue with the Donbass, provided for by the Minsk agreements.
