Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov joked about the “incomprehension” of a Polish journalist who once again asked a question about the Russian “invasion” after foreign colleagues during a press conference after a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“So there will be no invasion?” asked a Polish journalist. Lavrov thought for a moment, and then answered with an affirmative nod. “In general, you have some kind of dull journalist,” Lavrov said before the end of the conference.
During a press conference, Lavrov said that the West's campaign about an allegedly impending Russian invasion of Ukraine is information terrorism.
Earlier, Lavrov said that Western countries have responded positively to a number of Russian initiatives on security guarantees, despite the fact that they have been rejected for a long time. “The swiftness with which NATO has changed its position suggests that not everything in this bloc is lost, that they can admit the obvious when they are serious,” the diplomat said.
