The German special services may be involved in the preparation of the film by Alexei Navalny (the founder of the FBK, included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent ). This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, his commentary was published on the agency's website.
Answering a question from the media about the film, the minister recalled that in the film Navalny visits the building of the former Soviet intelligence station in Dresden and shows materials related to Vladimir Putin's service in the GDR. “It is clear that it is impossible to get into this building, and even more so to gain access to certain archives, without cooperation with the official authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany, most likely with their special services,” Lavrov said.
The Foreign Minister added that Moscow has asked Berlin for clarification. According to him, the German side replied that Navalny was admitted to the archival materials by the relevant department, and the information he provided was not secret.
Earlier it was reported that a production company from Los Angeles was involved in the film by Alexei Navalny. According to German media reports, Navalny worked on the film in Freiburg and in the commune of Kirchzarten (Germany). Here, as the publication says, a professional film and television studio Blackforest Studios appeared in November 2020, led by two residents of Freiburg – Nina Gwynne Weiland and Sebastian Weiland. They have worked in the American film industry for many years and have now opened their studio in the Black Forest.
