by alex

China launched the world's first monitor with an E Ink screen, like an e-book. The device was estimated at $ 2000 (more than 150 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate).

The new Paperlike 253 monitor from Dasung Technology features a metal case, a 25.3-inch black and white E Ink display, HDMI and DisplayPort video inputs. The manufacturer claims that the response time of the monitor is the same as that of models with conventional screens. That is, you can normally watch videos and even play games. The screen resolution is 3200 x 1800 pixels.

The monitor also has USB-C ports and a three-port USB-A hub. For now, the Paperlike 253 is on sale by pre-order in China.
