Latvia handed over to Ukraine more than 30 trucks containing individual equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: helmets, dry rations, medical devices and medicines. A batch of ammunition must also be delivered.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Latvia Artis Pabriks.

“It’s just that now more than 30 trucks containing personal equipment donated from the Latvian army are heading to Ukraine. Helmets, dry rations, medical devices and medicines. A large consignment of ammunition is also to be delivered,” the message says.

“The aid also includes food and donations from @VC4_LV with a total value of more than 17,000 euros, containing medical supplies, as well as 11,000 gauze bandages and disposable gloves donated by @Meness_aptieka,” the minister added.

In addition, the people of Latvia donated more than 1.5 million euros and purchased the first 500 tons of diesel fuel to keep the wheels of the APU running. More help is on the way, Pabriks added.
