With far more tremors, the Lask made the leap into the new Conference League. After 0-0 in the first leg, Husein Balic (72nd) redeemed Linz at St. Johnstone. Both teams went to work aggressively and missed good chances before goal and red for Wotherspoon (76th) let the game tip in favor of Lask. An emergency brake from Rooney finally made the decision: Marko Raguž converted the penalty and crowned his comeback after a cruciate ligament rupture (84th).
