The protesters are protesting against the government's position and internal political decisions, which they consider contradictory.

The protests were initiated by the “Peace of Ukraine” initiative and opposition political parties, and the actions acquired an international scale, in particular, protests took place in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Ireland. According to media reports, about 15,000 people took to the streets in Košice, the country's second-largest city.
The police, who are maintaining order during the protests, called on participants to follow the instructions of law enforcement officers and be attentive to others.
In some cities in Slovakia, counter-protests with the slogan “Slovakia is not Ukraine” were announced, and about 40 people gathered for one of them in Bratislava.
