Kyrgyzstan to receive humanitarian aid worth $ 8 million from Russia
Kyrgyzstan will receive $ 8 million in humanitarian aid from Russia, the Russian embassy in Bishkek reported on Facebook.
It is clarified that more than 9 thousand tons of food was purchased with these funds in order to support families living below the poverty line.
According to the diplomatic department, the transfer of food will take place on November 25. It is specified that the support program is being implemented jointly with the UN World Food Program.
The Russian Federation intends to continue funding other projects to strengthen food security in Kyrgyzstan, and we are also talking about hot meals for primary school students of the republic.
Earlier it was reported that Russia will pay pensions to labor migrants from the states of the Eurasian Economic Union for the experience gained in the Russian Federation.
