Kyrgyzstan asked to increase the number of flights to Russia
Kyrgyzstan asks to increase the number of regular flights to Russia. Now there is only one, and there are many more people who want to buy tickets. MIR 24 correspondent Maya Smekhova found out the details.
Azamat's flight to Moscow will take place in a week. He bought tickets back in November, but he is not sure that he will get on board. Departure to Russia is allowed only for a certain category of persons, or when there is a reason.
“On TV we see that they are not allowed in without reason. I took, for example, without reason. And I came to clarify whether I was going, whether everything is fine, about the PCR analysis, ”said Azamat Bakytov, a resident of Bishkek.
According to official data, the foundation is necessary only for those who fly to Russia by charters. Passengers who have a ticket for a weekly scheduled flight are not affected by this condition.
There are several items in the list. A citizen must be a participant in a resettlement program or have a residence permit in Russia. Close relatives are in the country and are citizens of the Russian Federation. If a person has an invitation and is a highly qualified specialist, he also has the right to fly out. And one more condition is the need for urgent treatment in Russia. Moreover, documents confirming these grounds are required.

Another problem is the increase in ticket prices. For example, for any nearest flights the price in one direction can reach 600 dollars, before the pandemic it was about 150. According to experts, the companies are trying to make up for the losses during the pandemic.
“Now there are about 70% fewer flights than last year. And, of course, airlines are increasing fares through their booking systems because this is driven by increased demand. I consider this to be the main reason for the high tariffs, ”said the head of the airline ticket sales company Aydar Okenov.
To rectify the situation, the Kyrgyz authorities decided to contact the operational headquarters of the Russian Federation for the spread of coronavirus.
“At the moment, we have only one flight once a week. This is Bishkek – Moscow. On Fridays. The rest of all flights are from the airports of Manas and Osh, there are more than 80 of them. The request is that the same number of flights, which is carried out by charters, should be carried out regularly. As soon as this happens, the pricing policy will stabilize, ”added Stalbek Sharsheev, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Transport and Roads.
Passengers also complain that some are removed from flights before departure, even if they have a ticket. The Civil Aviation Agency explains this by the fact that citizens allegedly submit certificates from employers in Russia, but in fact buy them on the Internet. Experts advise citizens of Kyrgyzstan to carefully study all the requirements of the receiving party before purchasing a ticket.
