Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed a protocol to end the conflict.

This happened on the border between the two states. The parties agreed to mothball the four border points that caused the conflict.

The peace protocol was signed by the head of the KNB of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchibek Tashiev, and his Tajik counterpart Saimumin Yatimov. The states mothballed four border points, because of which there was an armed conflict. Now the military and civilians cannot be there.

“The posts are completely removed and there will not be a single military or civilian there,” they explained in Kyrgyzstan.

Residents previously evacuated can return home.

Recall that there was a shootout on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, there are 1 dead and 17 wounded. The conflict took place near the Glavny water distribution point.

Later, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health reported that on the border with Tajikistan, the number of injured residents of Kyrgyzstan increased to 26, two died.
