Kremlin sanctions: Mark Zuckerberg and Kamala Harris banned from entering Russia

In general, the Russian Foreign Ministry imposed additional personal sanctions against 29 US citizens.

In Russia, the list of personal sanctions against American citizens has been expanded. A total of 29 Americans are banned from entering the Russian Federation. Among them are Meta (Facebook) founder Mark Zuckerberg and US Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Thursday, April 21, the corresponding list was published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Thus, the Kremlin responded to the ever-expanding US anti-Russian sanctions, under which, as stated in the message of the Russian Foreign Ministry, “the Joe Biden administration is bringing an increasing number of citizens of the Russian Federation, both officials and members of their families.”

< p>The Russian sanctions list includes, in particular, US Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Douglas Emhoff, Deputy Secretary of Defense, US Department of Defense spokesman John Kirby, Meta co-founder and chairman of the board of directors Mark Zuckerberg and CEO of the social network LinkedIn Ryan Roslansky.

The stop list of the Russian Foreign Ministry also includes the head of Bank of America Bian Moynihan, US Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen, White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klein, US State Department Spokesman Ned Price, Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levin and others .

Ned Price, a spokesman for the US Department of Diplomacy, joked to the media on Thursday that he was honored to be included in the list of US officials and other US citizens who were banned from entering Russia by Moscow.

“I must say that it is a great honor for me to anger a government that is deceiving its own people, torturing its neighbors and he is trying to create a world from which he is banishing freedom,” Price said.

Recall that earlier the Russian Foreign Ministry banned British Prime Minister Boris Johnson from visiting the country.
