Expert Vadim Denisenko told how many troops the DPRK can transfer to the Russian Federation for the war in Ukraine.
North Korea will not provide Russia with the expected number of its troops to participate in the war against Ukraine.
Vadim Denisenko, head of the analytical center “Business Capital”, said this at a discussion at the Ukraine Media Center.
“As far as we can judge, the Koreans refused to provide any significant contingents for this war. We understand that the maximum that will be transferred is several thousand people. We do not know whether they will be used at the front, whether they will be used in the rear, but all the same, these are not the numbers that the Russian army needed,” Denisenko noted.
Let us recall that analysts from the Institute for the Study of War reported that North Korea may deploy its troops to the front in Ukraine. as early as July or August 2025. Such participation by the DPRK could enhance Russia's ability to conduct offensive actions in several directions simultaneously.
