Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged everyone to stay at home or in shelters as much as possible, not to leave the house and not to leave the city.
The only exceptions are people working at critical infrastructure enterprises. Klitschko stressed that the only way to leave the house is to go into hiding.
He recalled that the subway will not carry out transportation yet and will only work as a shelter. Klitschko also turned to business to help with food and water for people in hiding.
– Help the people of Kiev with food, water, basic necessities. This is needed today by those in shelters, in the subway, in hospitals.
We also need help from our defenders. Behind us is our Kyiv, trying to destroy. We must stand. Glory to Ukraine.
