Previously, the North Korean leadership did not publicly support Russia's war against Ukraine.
The head of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, expressed his full support for Russia in carrying out the supposedly “just cause of protecting dignity and security.”
He stated this in his congratulatory telegram to the head of the Kremlin, Putin on on the occasion of Russia Day, the North Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA) reports.
“Under your leadership, the Russian people, bravely overcoming various challenges and difficulties, are making great strides in carrying out the just cause of protecting dignity, security and the rights to development country to which the North Korean people give their full support,” wrote Kim Jong-in.
He expressed confidence that relations between the DPRK and Russia will continue to “dynamically develop”.
“I am sure that on the way to protecting international justice and ensuring global security, tactical and strategic cooperation between the two countries will become more closer,” he said.
Recall that Chinese warplanes deliberately provoke collisions with Canadians performing a special operation as part of the UN mission in the Pacific.
