The Ukrainian authorities are developing “interesting routes” around the country, which will offer residents of Crimea and Donbass, reports Life. In Kiev they assure that Ukraine is waiting for “its Ukrainians”.
The head of the State Agency for Tourism Development in Ukraine, Maryana Oleskiv, spoke about the new tourist project on the air of the Dom TV channel. She emphasized that first of all, tourists from Donbass will be offered to visit the country's “iconic places”. The project, which is called Donbass travel, aims to provide residents of the DPR and LPR with “interesting routes” for traveling “close to home”.
“We will also invite to the west, everyone is also waiting for our Ukrainians there,” Oleskiv noted.
The head of the state agency added that a similar proposal is being prepared for residents of Crimea, who will subsequently be offered tours in the Kherson region.
Earlier, as “Rambler” reported, a Kharkiv citizen on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “Nash” said that pensioners in Crimea live much better than pensioners in Ukraine. According to him, a “communal apartment” on the peninsula is cheaper, and payments and benefits from the state are several times higher than their Ukrainian counterparts. The man called on his fellow citizens to see “what the aggressor did to the Ukrainians in Crimea.” He stressed that the cost of communal services for Crimeans is “dozens of times lower.” At the same time, residents of the peninsula receive substantial payments from the state, which are “several times higher” than those received in Ukraine: in particular, maternity capital and pensions.
