The beloved blogger Yuri Khovansky, accused of justifying terrorism, Maria Nelyubova, spoke about his first days after his release from a pre-trial detention center (SIZO). She is quoted by the Dozhd TV channel (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of media outlets performing the functions of a foreign agent) .

The girl explained that Khovansky can see her and her parents. He can also be visited by people who are not witnesses in the case. As Nelyubova noted, after leaving the pre-trial detention center, the blogger rests, spends time with family and tries to fit into a normal life.

In her opinion, Khovansky was released from the pre-trial detention center, since he did not admit that he sang the song “Nord-Ost”.

Earlier, on December 30, Nelyubova said that seven months in custody had a negative impact on the health of her lover, but in general everything is fine with him. “Already even at times joyful,” she shared.

On December 29, Khovanskiy was released from custody. The blogger, who has been under arrest since June 2021, has been changed the preventive measure to prohibit certain actions. He cannot leave the house from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am, attend events, send mail, use the Internet and the telephone, visit the crime scene, and also communicate with media representatives and witnesses in his case. The exception for the latter condition was Nelyubova and Khovansky's parents.

Yuri Khovansky was arrested in June 2021. The blogger was charged under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism”). The reason was the performance by Khovansky of a song about the terrorist attack in the theater center on Dubrovka, which took place in 2002 during the musical “Nord-Ost”.
