It is possible to restrict the work of WhatsApp in Russia, but this is a matter for broad discussion, said the head of the State Duma committee on information policy, information technology and communications, Alexander Khinshtein. His words are overestimated by RIA Novosti.
He also added that he will discuss with Roskomnadzor measures to respond to the update of the WhatsApp user agreement that is contrary to Russian law.
