Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Sergei Kharitonov admitted that after being beaten by fighter Adam Yandiev, nicknamed Beard, he would have to undergo surgery abroad. He told about this in an interview with Izvestia.
The heavyweight noted that there are many good doctors in Russia and he respects Russian specialists, however, some operations, in his opinion, are better done in Israel, Germany or the United States. “I would also like to do a nose operation abroad. Most likely it will. But I can't say for sure yet. I haven't made a decision yet, ”Kharitonov said.
Earlier, Kharitonov said that his orbital bone and nose were broken, and his right eye was damaged. Such injuries will put a pause in his career for at least three months.
The fight between the fighters took place on November 13. It was reported that the conflict with Yandiyev began after a verbal skirmish. The attacker struck 40-year-old Kharitonov several blows with brass knuckles, after which the fighter was hospitalized. Two criminal cases were initiated against Yandiev.
