The wife of the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin Daria called her husband's unbearable character trait. She spoke about this in an interview with Match TV.
“It’s boring, he can walk and play something:“ It’s not there, and so on. ” And he will walk for three days, not notice, and then catch on. Such a grumbler, ”she said. The wife of the national team mentor noted that she was asking her husband not to coach the family.
Karpin replied that he does not coach the family, but wants everything to be in its place. “There must be order, everything must be perfect,” he said.
Karpina described her husband's behavior after the team's defeats. She stressed that the coach does not behave closed after failures. Karpin added that he could discuss the match with his wife, and noted that Daria is well versed in football.
Karpin took over the Russian national team in July after Stanislav Cherchesov left the team. At first, the specialist combined positions in the national team and in Rostov, but soon left the club. The Russian national team led by Karpin completed the 2022 World Cup qualifying tournament in second place in the group. The team will continue to fight for the right to play at the World Cup in the play-offs.
