Harry Kane – the signs were already goodbye in the last home game of last season.
Striker Harry Kane is back in Spurs training. He went on strike, wants the transfer to Manchester City. He could play against the club on Saturday.
After days of absence in the dispute over a transfer to the English football champions Manchester City, international striker Harry Kane has resumed training at his club Tottenham Hotspur. Coach Nuno Espirito Santo will not decide until Saturday whether the captain will appear in the first game against Man City on Sunday.
Kane did not show up at the Spurs after his vacation after the European Championship. Last Friday he announced his return to training for the previous Saturday – however, he had to be in corona quarantine for five days after his vacation. On Thursday he received a negative test result and was now allowed to train again.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Man City for weeks, although his contract will not expire until the summer of 2024. The defending champion is said to have offered a transfer fee of around 150 million euros. Kane is said to rely on a gentlemen's agreement, according to which Tottenham boss Daniel Levy is said to have allowed him to leave the club despite the valid contract. However, Levy should probably only be ready to let the attacker go if it is about a move abroad. Manchester coach Pep Guardiola did not want to comment on Kane again on Friday.
