Ukraine produces dozens of drones every month that are analogues of Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones.
This was announced by the Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin during the annual meeting of the European Business Association, Forbes writes.
According to him, it is the defense industry that makes a significant contribution to economic growth and should become its main sector in the future.

— Starting with what is called “Ukrainian Shahed”, we do not say the name of this product, but we went into mass production of it and now (produce) dozens per month, continuing with many other items that we previously produced very little, but now we have decent numbers,” he said.
According to the minister, the multiple increase in production does not always satisfy the government.
“We are satisfied with tenfold growth or more.” We have such growth in many areas,” Kamyshin emphasized.
The minister noted that we are not talking about business integration with Ukroboronprom, because state factories are operating, and investors are developing the private sector. At the same time, today many drone companies have seen an opportunity at one of the state factories to find those resources that they cannot find for themselves separately.
For example, a service center at a state-owned plant helps small private drone companies. Kamyshin points out that this is an example of how the state helps to develop with its resources.
“In this regard, the “Ukrainian Shahed” appeared precisely at the state plant,” he added.
Earlier, Kamyshin said that the parameters of the Ukrainian analogue drone are even better than the Shahed-136.
