US Vice President Kamala Harris said on her return from a state visit to Poland and Romania that a Russian invasion of Ukraine threatens all of Europe . She said this on Saturday, March 12, at a meeting of the National Committee of the Democratic Party, informs the BBC.
The Russian invasion is fraught not only with Ukrainian democracy, it threatens the democracy and security of the whole of Europe. And, accordingly, when someone, somewhere, threatens democracy, it threatens all of us,” Harris said.
She also recalled that the United States is firmly on the side of the Ukrainian people and in defense of the countries of the NATO Alliance , and added:
When I met with our allies, I stressed that the greatest strength we share is unity, especially at this moment when we stand up for democracy together and stand up for each other together.

Earlier, NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov demanded that NATO at least provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons if the Alliance does not want to close the sky over Ukraine.
In his opinion, it was precisely because of the sluggishness of the West and its willingness to bend before Putin that he decided on a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
