At the international forum “Army 2021” the world-famous concern “Kalashnikov” presented a novelty – a submachine gun for military pilots PPK-20.
The tests were carried out at the flight test center of the Ministry of Defense in Akhtubinsk. PPK-20 is designed in such a way that it is convenient for the pilot to place it in the cockpit of the aircraft, as well as in the ejection seat. Its length with the stock folded is 41 cm.
As the general director of the Kalashnikov concern for special projects Denis Fisenko noted, the weapon has passed all the necessary tests and can be used. At the same time, he noted that tests will continue to assess the effectiveness of all design changes and updated performance characteristics.
