The Kalashnikov group of companies presented at the Army-2021 international military-technical forum the serial MP-155 Ultima smart-gun with an on-board personal computer running on the Android system.
As the press service of Kalashnikov told reporters, the on-board PC of the smart gun has been radically redesigned over the past year. In addition, the design of the MP-155 Ultima was adapted for the ability to use weapons only with a pistol grip.
As the website kp.ru wrote, earlier Dmitry Tarasov, CEO of the Kalashnikov group of companies, told how the MP-155 Ultima smart gun can be synchronized with mobile devices. He said that this type of weapon will train the shooter in the process of completing tasks, and one of the goals of innovative development is to attract the attention of those people who were “born with gadgets in their hands” and cannot imagine themselves without them.
According to Tarasov, the MP-155 Ultima smart gun can be equipped with a shot counter and compass, as well as add a video recording function.
