The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, on Instagram described the living conditions of the Swedish mixed style fighter (MMA) Khamzat Chimaev, nicknamed New Khabib, in Chechnya.
Chimaev flew to Chechnya to undergo rehabilitation after suffering a coronavirus under the supervision of Kadyrov. The politician said that he met the athlete at the airport in Grozny and prepared a special program for him to recover. “Fresh air, native walls, good nutrition and control of specialists will do their job,” he said, adding that after rehabilitation the fighter will restore his former condition and will again enter the cage to win.
