Football referee Nikita Danchenkov, beaten by former Russian national team player Roman Shirokov, refused to pay lawyers. This was reported to the “Rating of Bookmakers” by the lawyer Alexander Ostrovsky, who represented the interests of the victim in court.
Ostrovsky said that he would not participate in filing an appeal, since Danchenkov did not want to fulfill the wishes of his lawyers. He noted that the judge did not pay for the work done by the lawyers, and also refused the money offered by the head of the refereeing corps of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Viktor Kashshai.
